
Eva Prioleau is a dedicated public servant, community leader, and candidate for Richland County Council District 11. With over 30 years of experience in public service, she has built a career focused on improving infrastructure, strengthening communities, and delivering results that matter.
Eva retired from Richland County Public Works, where she served as General Manager of Administration and Finance, managing multimillion-dollar budgets and supporting projects that improved roads, drainage, and essential services. She also brings experience from the South Carolina Department of Transportation, providing a strong foundation in transportation and infrastructure planning.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, with a concentration in Management, and is committed to responsible financial management and effective leadership.
Eva’s service extends deeply into the community. She serves on the Richland County Foster Care Review Board 5B, advocating for the well-being of children and families. She is also involved with Tri-County Electric Cooperative, where she participates on a board committee that helps provide financial assistance to seniors and residents in need of handicap ramps and home repairs.
Additionally, Eva is an active leader in the Lower Richland NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Hopkins Community Awareness Crimewatch. Her work coordinating community clean-up, litter prevention, and illegal dumping programs reflects her commitment to safe, clean, and healthy neighborhoods.
Eva’s leadership is grounded in integrity, accountability, and a passion for service. She is committed to addressing the needs of District 11 through practical solutions, responsible growth, and improving quality of life for all residents.
